My god, who writes this stuff? Was there a single performer of his generation who didn't share this sentiment? Especially one from the UK. Of course rock and roll, blues, funk and the likes of Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, James Brown were all a vital influence. Who doesn't know this?
