"In an even more shocking statement, Campione revealed that, 'The sun is very bright.'" Reporters scrambled to deliver this revelation to their editors.

Nonsense. Make a good product and people will enjoy. This victim crap from Western women is becoming a joke.

The industry is dominated by men because most women have more important things to do than make movies. And when they do make movies, the men who run the film industry often fail to recognize the genius that may be in the movie because they are men, and men and women appreciate different things.
I don't like it when its all made out to be some sinister plot. Its not. Its just a situation that came about naturally, unfortunate as it is.

Did 'inherent sexism' not exist when current Head of the Cannes jury Jane Campion's “The Piano” won the Palme d’Or in 1993, or perhaps Campion's love triangle between a mute pianist, husband and a lover exploring the relationship between love and fetishism not simply a very worthy winner?
