When you inject heroin for a long time - quite likely sharing needles with others - this is what sadly happens. Surely Sheen is not expecting an outpouring of sympathy or anything? I just hope he did not infect anyone without telling them his status.

It did not come as a surprise given what Charlie Sheen has been alleged to have done over the years. I just hope that he did not infect anyone else.

Unfortunately junkies - regardless of their wealth or status - rarely make the wisest of decisions. The people I feel sorry for here are Sheens' children and grandchildren - and the people he possibly infected. (He has admitted to having sex with prostitutes without informing them of his HIV status.) I never liked this woman-bashing celebrity, but he is even more of a tool than I thought.

Hope everybody involved is OK. Furthermore, HIV patients have lots of medication nowadays. I am friends with four or five guys with the virus, hetero and gay. I don't know why he had to hide it.

In his prime, he was a great actor! I have to point out though that he didn't star in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. No mention of Navy Seals, Hot Shots, or Young Guns ?? Great performances from Sheen in those movies.

Unfortunately, he'll always be remember for the bad things he's done now. Not a good role model for the younger generation, but a good example of how celebrities sometimes crash and burn.

Given the lifestyle he's led he's lucky to be alive.knowingly bedding down with unwitting partners he should be locked up for awhile.when it comes to having sex, some people have no consciense at all.
