Christel Takigawa to cover Grammys again for WOWOW

TOKYO —

Freelance television presenter Christel Takigawa, 35, will cover the Grammy Awards 2013 live on WOWOW on Feb 11.

Takigawa, the daughter of a French father and a Japanese mother, will be covering the Grammy Awards for the fourth consecutive year. She is to present the show live from a studio
near the venue alongside Jon Kabira.

When asked about the event, Takigawa told reporters, “There are always unexpected problems, but I thrive under that kind of pressure, so I’m looking forward to it.”

Takigawa was a presenter at Fuji TV for seven years before becoming a freelance announcer and model. She can currently be seen in a commercial for Tsubaki, a hair product brand by Shiseido.
