All his shows are the same idea but different names. I enjoy all of them as a travel nut.

Fantastic shows - love his work! I highly recommend watching his trip to Sukiyabashi Jiro on YouTube. Great :)

If you go all the way back to his Food Network shows, then the Travel Channel shows, and now CNN, you can see such growth in the attitude, storytelling and cinematography. Watching the show is like following around that adventurous friend who always wants to see what kind of trouble he can get into next.

I like the fact that he doesn't hold back, he told the execs at Travel channel and CNN, sometimes, he has a slip of the tongue and uses salty language and makes no apologies and he said, if he couldn't do the show his way, just forget it, because he can draw a huge audience, both caved and that's before the start, you see the writing disclaimer, not to mention, he shows you a lot of great food in many developing countries, that make me seriously want to try it. Good for him. He knows how to tell a story, NO BS, eats great food, always gets me hungry and is a great writer and narrator to boot. Can't wait, been a fan for years.

I find this show offensive and boring beyond belief. Rather than celebrate the cultures and the places this fool visits, he parades himself as the focus and forces us to endure an endless stream of his superior and shallow commentary, a sad example of the american "star" focus rather than showing the beauty and the special character of the places he visits like other decent travel and variety shows can and do who are much much better. I was very sad to see this creep back on the air.
