Comedian Nahomi Matsushima to marry

TOKYO —

Nahomi Mastushima, 36, one half of the female comedian duo Othello, said on Sunday she is getting married and will officially announce it on her live TV program “Kira Kira Afro” on the TV Tokyo network on Monday midnight.

Matsuhima said in a fax to media, “I will marry Toshihiro Hisada, a vocalist for the rock band Marsas Sound Machine. He is a man who is always on my side and supports me.”

Matsushima and Hisada have been friends for more than 10 years because their agent is the same. Tabloid magazines first reported the two were dating in May 2007.
