Why would he? Nolan is a genius and took Batman to totally different and dark level, which how the real Batman comics were and to take a chance with the Justice League which could go either way, because contrary to Marvel, DC comics are kind of boring and to stamp his name on it could possibly damage his reputation and soon to be legend. I think it was a good move.

They should make a Superwoman movie starring Minami Takahashi as Superwoman and Erika Sawajiri as her nemesis.

Hats off to you Mr. Nolan. You have done Batman like no one else could have.

I'm sick of reboots and comic movies. Does anyone really remember anything that happens in them? Do you reference these movies as you would a Tarantino, Scorsesse, or even a Lucas film? I like a mindless action flick as much as the next guy, but when you start to reboot rebooted franchises in less than a decade (ahem Spidey), then it just shows that the audiences are idiotic.

@jforce - this is exactly what Nolan did with the Dark Knight. Granted, the most memorable quotes of the movie belong to the Joker...

I think Bab men tend to like their privacy...
As for the Justice League, it would be a tough movie to do. The characters would need some pressing reason, from a character standpoint, to work together. The DC original characters were not, in my opinion, as deep as the Marvel characters. Still, the Green Lantern movie sort of worked, so that one could fit. Not so the Smallville rendition of Aquaman and the Flash, though young Superman, while really far from the comic, worked pretty well. I don't know...they'd need someone pretty skilled to make the storyline and characters work.
