TOKYO —

Actor Shido Nakamura, 35, and Emiri Henmi, 31, introduced their new stage play “Hitusji to heitai” (Sheep and Soldiers) to the media this week, but reporters were more interested in their divorces from Yuko Takeuchi, 28, and Yuichi Kimura, 45, respectively.

Asked how they are coping since their divorces, Hemmi said to Nakamura, “I think we’ve both become more mature, right?” Nakamura answered with a wry smile: “Yes, we have.”

The play starts July 5 at Kita theater in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.
