Ebi-chan attends fashion show in Taiwan

Model Yuri Ebihara, 28, popularly known as “Ebi-chan,” attended a fashion show held by cosmetic maker Shiseido to promote its Maquillage brand in Taipei on Monday. Ebihara, who is well known in Taiwan for her Maquillage TV commercials, said, “I know my image in Taiwan is ‘kawaii’ (cute), but I would like many people to see my cool aspect, too.”

About 300 fans welcomed her at the airport and 1,000 gathered for the fashion show.

Westurn, I know this has been mentioned many, many times before, but notice this is in the entertainment section. Not the National section, not the politics section, not the crime section, but the entertainment section. Why wouldn't a celebrity news blurb about ebi chan or any one else be in the entertainment news section? Now if this was in the national section sure, but much ado about nothing as usual.

And you're right sarge, she's positively ancient at 28. Better hope she gets hitched soon.
