Funny how Japanese guys are so arrogant about wanting younger women...I >always think of Japan this way...the land of the beautiful women and >ugly men...and LUCKY gaijin!

Funny, I guess I never really look at the men (in that wsay) anywhere. But I do agree that in any country be it Japan or Kenya or Sweden, the women always look better than the men.

the women always look better than the men

Depends on what you're looking at.

she said: “There’s not, but if I meet the right guy, I will cover myself in sugar and become a sweet shrimp!” ......................

in not so many words, she expressed her wishes to be eaten/nibbled/licked.

Can't beat a girl who knows what she wants !!

perfect... chodo ii ne, fortunately, she is still single. Why there is no man beside her ?.

  • smithinjapan at 06:42 PM JST - 21st March

I think if this beautiful young lady wants to find true love she's going to have to do so outside of Japan. I don't mean that in any kind of 'she can find more love with a foreigner' kind of deal; but it would be hard to find something genuine here due to her fame and what not.

But she is everybody´s favorite sweet shrimp already, even without the sugar covering! :-)

Ebi chan is very much in the public eye and she is going to keep it that way. That's how she makes a living. If she gets an 'idiotic' question she counters with an 'idiotic' answer. She is smarter than the 'real idiots' can see.

As intelligent as you think she is, she would be absolutely nothing without her looks, and nobody would waste time defending her unless she was cute and used the old clever 'I'm looking for a man' advertising gimmick to entice men to buy her product.

Correction - she is not hot. She is cute, but not hot. A lot of Japanese and Asian girls are cute - but not hot.

important distinction, i feel! "cute" girls are pleasing to the eye, but not likely to be terribly exciting

  • tsurubushi at 01:00 AM JST - 23rd March

jonnyboy - "exciting" can be fun for a while, but try having an exciting wife sometime...it gets old quick. I'd rather a cute girl who is a little bit on the boring side than a smokin hottie (or any woman) who is "exciting". more truoble than they're worth.

“There’s not, but if I meet the right guy, I will cover myself in sugar and become a sweet shrimp!”

Oooh, the innuendo totally escapes her.... or does it?

  • whitepocky at 01:14 PM JST - 23rd March

Ebi is stunning, however she's also probably 'high maintenance'. She would be perfect for a quick fling, though long relationship....No thanks. I'd have to pass.

  • saborichan at 08:51 AM JST - 24th March

Use-by date fast approaching, Ebi-chan! Watch out you don't end up in the moerugomi.

  • IvanCoughalot at 10:10 AM JST - 24th March

Sweet smile? Because we all know nothing makes your teeth look good like lots of sugar.

  • IvanCoughalot at 10:55 AM JST - 24th March

    Having said that,

I will cover myself in sugar

I'd be more than happy to give Ebi-chan a good coating. Top to toe.

  • jonnyboy at 05:09 PM JST - 24th March

she strikes me as the sort of girl who would be disadvantaged by the "mr right" syndrome, ie. she's holding out for that "perfect" guy who is never going to come because (perhaps, just perhaps) she has unrealistic expectations
