Ebi-chan says 'I want to get married'

Model Yuri Ebihara, 28, says she is still looking for ‘Mr X’ and would like to get married. The popular model, affectionately called “Ebi-chan,” was appearing at an event to promote New Zealand Zespri kiwifruit with actor Kenji Sakaguchi, 32. Sakaguchi has been the image character for Zespri for seven years and Ebihara for five years.

Ebihara and Sakaguchi joked at the same event last year that they would possibly end up in a relationship after doing so many TV ads together. “Unfortunately,” said Sakaguchi, “she didn’t get interested in me at all.”

Asked about the relationship between actor Shun Oguri and actress-model Yu Yamada, who is represented by the same agent as her, Ebihara said, “I knew about their relationship. I think he is a mature person for his age. I hope I can find the right person for me, too.”

Well, I would say 28 is about perfect. She's had all her fun, so time to make her cook and clean...Just kidding.

She looks wonderful, so I would say the lucky guy just needs to keep her going so the Yen keeps rolling in. Can't get pregnant... She'll stop appearing on TV.

Oh, is she the kakutei shinkoku girl?

I've never quite understood the point of the kakutei shinkoku girl and the hi no youjin girl - do they really make people more inclined to submit their tax returns or ensure they put out stoves, etc?

And do people buy more kiwifruit because of these two?

It's all a bit of a mystery to me....

So long as she doesn't say, "...before my fluids are rotten..." she'll still continue to make waves in the cosmetics' bikini ads., and will therefore have thousands of people (married or not) to choose from.

Good luck, Ebi-chan. Everyone deserves happiness. Not sure that announcing on air you want to get married will find you 'Mr. Right' (I'm sure it will offer up a million Mr. Wrongs), but hey, 'tis the world of fame.
