Emiri Henmi gives ex-hubbie go sign for next marriage

Emiri Henmi was the guest of honor this week at the opening event for fashion web portal au one Brand Garden, but reporters were more interested to hear what she had to say about her ex-husband’s new girlfriend.

Henmi’s ex-husband, “talent” Yuuichi Kimura, has reportedly just begun dating actress Ryo Nishikata. Henmi said, “We haven’t seen each other since the divorce, even once, so I have no idea what he’s up to. I wish him good luck in getting married.”

Of her own love life, Henmi hinted at a possible beau, saying, “I don’t have anything more to tell you, but I’m very happy right now.”

You gotta love the way marriages and relationships end in Japan. Quick and easy. No need to see the other. No need for contact. Like an eraser passes over that portion of history and it simply disappears without any need of analysis or finger pointing.

Yeah, great, quick and easy. Unless of course you have children and then it gets horribly complicated.
