Fuji TV announcer Reiko Endo announces upcoming wedding

Popular Fuji TV announcer Reiko Endo, 29, has announced that she will marry later this month. In a statement released by the network, Endo, who covers sports on the morning TV variety program “Mezamashi TV” from 5:25 a.m. until 8 a.m., said her fiance, 30, is not in the entertainment business.
Endo said they met through a mutual acquaintance in 2007, and that her boyfriend popped the question on her birthday, April 29. She said her fiance is studying abroad for an MBA and that the wedding ceremony will be held next month abroad. She described him as a sportsman and a graduate of Keio University. “He is a very giving person and very patient to put up with my mania for talking about baseball,” she said.

It is good to see all J celebs announce marriage... lets us know how bad it is to be one of them. Love the arranged marriages here and they even managed the mandatory before 30 for her and one year senior for him. Have a nice retirement sweetie and keep an eye on the kids.

I'm assuming the translator's use of "sportsman" means "athlete". A sportsman is someone who likes hunting and fishing.
