TOKYO —
Actress Norika Fujiwara, 36, will host a new program, “Save the Future,” on NHK from June 6-8. Fujiwara said, “I have recently started using a bicycle more as an environmentally friendly activity. My company’s car has been replaced by a hybrid one.”
Asked about her husband, comedian Tomonori Jinnai, 34, who had to pull out of his regular program this week due to illness, and who is currently staying in Osaka, she said, “I’m worried about him. When he returns to Tokyo, I will cook something special for him.”

Norika is the bomb, though I tend to be wary of any person being "eco friendly."

Another "showbiz" marriage on the rocks?
Why doesn't she pop to Osaka and visit him?

Yeah, I've seen her cycling to work - NOT! She needs a Rodeo Boy. And she lives in eco-friendly LeoPalace, too.

Yeah, I think this whole Eco Idol kick is a waste of time. The same scients who are making an issue of Global warming also said if a cure isn't found for Aids in 5 years, the human race would be wiped out. That was 4 years ago. Why are they worrying about the seed of natures destruction, when the seed of human distruction has sprouted? If Idol girl want to do something for the future, they should get married and have kids.

I like Norika and I think she is trying to make an effort to do something Eco friendly. But the truth is, whatever one does, one gets rapped anyway. Picking on whoever it is, seems to be a favorite pastime of forum posters.
