Girls will be boys in AKB48's new drama

TOKYO —
Haruna Kojima, 20, Minami Takahashi, 17, and Minami Minegishi, 15, who are members of the idol girl group AKB48, will appear in TV Tokyo’s new drama “Mendol – ikemen idol,” playing boys.
The story is about three wanna-be-idol girls who disguise themselves as boys for a bit of fun. Takahashi said, “It’s really fun because I’ve dreamed of what it would be like to be a boy. For my character, I’ve been studying my brother’s behavior.”
The new drama will be aired from Oct 10.
