don't think this is win/win. 15 million is chickenfeed. and the income from VOD is a fraction of what cinema tickets cost..... another business where margins are gradually being eroded.

When you pay $12-$15 to see a movie, some of the money go to the movie theaters not just the studio. When it's VOD, almost all goes to the studio, minus the credit card fees but that also applies when you see it at a movie theater.

Wow... who'd have thought that the idea of giving people the choice to watch a movie in multiple formats would work? That would be, like, giving the consumer the choice of how they'd want to consume the product. Fancy that working. The only problem is that this could lead to the weird scenario of customer satisfaction... Do we really want to go there?
