TOKYO —
Singer Janet Jackson, 41, on Thursday made a surprise visit to a dance school in Tokyo to meet young students. The students, who had been told that her dance choreographer would visit them, got the surprise of their lives when Jackson herself showed up. The students performed some of Jackson’s own routines for her. “I’m very impressed,” she said afterwards. When one student asked how she could become a big star, Jackson told her: “You should learn acting as well.”
Jackson is visiting Japan to promote her new album “Discipline” and promised she would invite the students to her live concert in Tokyo scheduled for September.

That was the nicest thing one could do. Think of all the wonderful memories those students will have. Who knows, maybe one or more will go on to become professonal dancers.

She's a nut case, but a pretty good actress. Poetic Justice was a good example.
