Japan horror film director Nakata returns with evil doll

Nice! Looking forward to it. J-horror is among the best in the world, when it is not THE best.

Good to read about someone's passion. I am not a fan of horror only because I get easily freaked out, but I know this guy is a master of his craft.

In his latest offering, the object of fear is a life-size doll

It's been done..."I am Chucky, the killer doll"

Many Japanese already seem to have a deep superstition regarding dolls.

This will movie surely freak them out if they allow themselves to get dragged into the theater.

Some of those J-Horror films are more in the line of comedy than actual horror. Then, again, comparing to those Hollywood type horror simply using loud noises and things jump out of no where or gore (grade school level prank), it is a lot better. Even those claimed to be scary films in the western media are more like boring to me. The occasion loud noises is to wake me up when I fall asleep.
