Japanese designer's wedding dress to become first used in zero gravity

A custom-made dress designed by renowned Japanese fashion designer Eri Matsui will be used in the world’s first wedding ceremony to be held in zero gravity aboard a NASA-style high altitude flight.

New York City residents Erin Finnegan, artist and writer for Publisher’s Weekly and Otaku USA Magazine, and Noah Fulmore, of an international legal firm, will tie the knot June 20 while floating weightless high on the border of space and the upper atmosphere. The happy couple will then return to Earth for a reception and more photos against the New York City skyline.

With a worldwide following that Erin and Noah have built through their Japanese pop-culture program “The Ninja Consultants” (available on Apple’s i-Tunes), the event promises to draw the attention of many followers from America, Japan and around the world. Talks are also underway to make this record-breaking wedding part of a wedding themed reality TV series, currently broadcast on American Cable networks.
