Cool, no one can stop the growth and spread of beautiful Japanese culture.

rjd jr- Beautifull Japanese culture like cartoons and comics displaying sexual violence against females (usually school girls).

    Wow , what a culture!!

Yes ColAmerica right up there with American culture...try going to ComicCon in San Diego (largest of its type in the WORLD each year) and you will see alot of very twisted comics displaying sexual violence against females...yes the Japanese are catching up to us!!!

ogieDoggie- Utter trash. There are very few comics of that sort in the US. I would guess the majority of comics in Japan depict, rape and or violenec to women. Also they are read in full view of women and children, are on store shelfs where kids can view.

Yeah, great culture, let`s emulate Japans obsession with underage girls, violenec and rape.

Scratch deeper than just the surface, and you will find pure filth drives Japans mannga, pc games and some anime business.

Not sure if ComicCon can beat Comiket a 4 day event that draws 2+mill people or Wonder-Festival that draws 400.000+ in a 7hrs period. I been to Comiket and Wonder-Festival and they are a mad-house.

But yes lots of twisted people out there.

ColAmerica again you are dead wrong.

Most manga in japan are NOT sexual, plenty of ones aimed towards OL, kids, etc.

They just don't get mentioned in the west as they only focus on the weird/sick stuff.

  • TheNewZen at 02:13 AM JST - 6th September

Easy to prove you wrong too, as I got tons of manga my wife and son read on hand.

    How about neko-moe?

  • ColAmerica at 02:33 AM JST - 6th September

TheNewZen-When i resided in Japan, the manga being read on the train was certainly aimed at OL or kids it was explicit and not suitable for minors.

If a person read that filth in front of others on a US train, he would receive a broken nose for sure.

Wow TheNewZen....ComicCon is 4 days and gets 125,000 and it is getting overcrowded with just that.

Comiket and Wonder-Festival must really be crazy (and smelly too..that many people in a small area?) I Must see Comiket and Wonder-Festival !!!! So little time and so many conventions...thanks for update TheNewZen.
