TOKYO —

American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz on Tuesday night held a mini-concert for Japanese fans at the Marunouchi Building to promote his latest album “We sing, W Dance, We Steal Things.” At the end of the event, Mraz interacted with about 100 fans who bought the album at the venue, giving them his autograph.

During the one-hour concert, several hundred people gathered in the lobby, while many more looked down from as high as the sixth floor. Mraz sang six songs, including requests from fans.

Asked about the title of his album during the talk session, Mraz said, “I actually stole the title ‘We Sing. We Dance, We Steal Things.’ I saw it while visiting a museum in Scotland. We seldom admit to the things that we steal. We’re always stealing music, fashion ideas, and resources just to survive and to move forward. My favorite way of looking at it is how we tap into this unique energy that activates all of us.”

Mraz will tour Tokyo, Osaka and Hiroshima in July.

USN, Thanks for the link. For those who haven't heard of him, here's another selection by him (my personal favorite Mraz song):
