KAT-TUN singer Jin Akanishi to make film debut

TOKYO —
Jin Akanishi, 24, a member of idol group KAT-TUN, will make his film debut in “Bandage,” scheduled for release in 2010. He will start filming in November. The story is about a rock band in the 1990s and their struggle with human relationships. The director is music producer Takeshi Kobayashi, 49.
Akanishi, who will play the lead for the first time, said, “I’m looking forward to doing something I can’t try as KAT-TUN. I hope the film will be a hit.”

I always laugh at how the tarento agencies have overtaken the industry and put these prissy boys in roles that used to be done by real actors. Could they be any more androgynous?

RIGHT, HE DOESN'T ACT VERY WELL, BUT I DON'T THINK HE CANNOT SING LIKE SOMEONE HAS SAID BEFORE. (let's try to sing his songs, people who think he can not sing are definitely wrong)

Lets see, maybe when he sings live he tends to get a bit off, due to tiredness. (can't help it, KAT-TUN is getting popular by the second) And he can't really act because he only starred in a few shows. But for the yukan club, its because he hasn't act for like more than half a year, so he couldnt really get the hang of it. Maybe you people should try being entertainers and see how hard life is being one, because you don't have much rest. So just these people a break and support them. :D I know he can do well in BANDAGE! <3
