Koike, Sakata to hold gala wedding party in July

Actress-TV presenter Eiko Koike, 27, and her husband, professional wrester Wataru Sakata, 35, will have a lavish wedding party at Tokyo Prince Hotel Park Tower on July 24, their agents said on Tuesday. The two got married last August. According to several sources, about 500 celebrities are expected to attend the wedding party, such as Eriko Sato, 26, and Masato, 29.

The wedding party will be aired on Tokyo Broadcasting System’s program “Dream Press,” TBS said.

rjd_jr...I know it is in "entertainment" news. My point was why a couple having a wedding party 11 months late was news of any kind. (But I guess you missed that.) If they were throwing a party for 500 of their friends to raise funds for some charity, then it seems news worthy. But just to promote that it will be on TBS seems like crass commercialism, and not news. northlondon, if you tell me she is not the typical bubble-headed tarento I will believe you. I was just commenting that the look in her eyes is completely vacant.

Do all the people who automatically call all female Japanese celebrities bimbos and no-talents and airheads, actually speak Japanee to the extent that they know these people from Japanese TV shows and dramas? I tend to think that would be the minimum valid requirement to be be able to pass a qualified judgement.
