Korean pop star BoA busy studying English

TOKYO —

Korean pop star BoA, 22, will appear in TV commercials for audio-technica, a company that designs and manufactures microphones, headphones and other audio equipment.

BoA broke her left arm in September, but said that rehabilitation was going well. She made her American debut this month, and is busy studying English. “I got an English vocab book for my birthday. It’s like, how much are they gonna make me study?! When I get back to Japan, people will tell me my Japanese is strange!”
