Kumi Koda
Sunday 22nd November, 03:40 AM JST
TOKYO —
Singer Kumi Koda, 27, turned on the lights at Seibu Ikebukuro department store’s Christmas display this week, but lost her sparkle when asked about her plans for Christmas.
Koda posed for pictures beneath the display which was designed to look like snow falling from the sky, and recalled memories of a Christmas past. “I’ve been in love many times since elementary school. I remember one time I asked Santa Claus for a photo of a boy I liked, and I was happy when it appeared under my pillow on Christmas Day.”
Koda was less convivial though when asked about this year’s Christmas. Rumored to be seeing SMAP’s Masahiro Nakai, 37, Koda was asked who she would be spending this Christmas with, but she didn’t reply, and just continued smiling for the cameras.

Lol, you might end in a love hotel even without Kumi, so do not promise anything, nobody knows the future.

I love it when these type of comments surface. See, the point is that you cared enough to take the time to post a comment about it. Mission accomplished for the web site. More hits for their site, more hits for this story, and more posts.
If you really dont care...dont post/read these kinds of stories.

I don't care and I will continue to post that I don't care. Not sure why the website "wins" if I post these thoughts.

Why is this such big news .... wasted print ... I guess my only comment would be ... she better reserve her 'love' hotel pretty soon ... as that is where so many couples spend their Christmas Eve. Or, how about this? With her family?

"Koda was less convivial though"
I can't imagine Kumi not being adequately convivial.

Ku-chan's career depends on being convivial (and dancing around like a stripper but with clothes on)...

Christmas and New Years Eve are opposite in Japan. Christmas is when you hang out with friends and New Years is when you hang out with family.
Going out on a limb here but she probably isn't Christian.
She's 27, which means that she is already an expired Christmas cake.

--You are certainly free to do as you wish. But if two people read the story and one ignores it and moves on, and the other has an emotional response evoked and then posts about it...I would say the person that moves on didnt care.
--The website "wins" becuase it brings more traffic to the site, which means more clicks on advertisements.
