Really sad. I love the Velvet Underground and his solo stuff. 'Sweet Jane' was one of the first songs my brother taught me to play on an acoustic guitar. Great song, great songwriter. Thanks for the songs Lou.

There are lots of musicians who are connected to New York in one way or another. To my mind, nobody is more "New York" than Lou Reed.
