Mao Kobayashi bids farewell to pinup days

Freelance TV anchor Mao Kobayashi, 27, said goodbye to her “gravure idol” days on her official blog this week. She was on the cover of the latest Big Comic Spirits, with the foreword telling fans this would be her last time posing for such photos.
Kobayashi is engaged to kabuki actor Ebizo Ichikawa, 32.
On her blog, she thanked all her fans for sending her their best wishes and also thanked the Big Comic Spirits. “I have a lot of memories with Spirits during the past six years.”
