TOKYO —
Celebrity Masaaki Sakai, 62, will release a new album titled “Toki no wasuremono” on Sept 20 for the first time in 21 years.
Sakai will celebrate the 57th anniversary of his debut as a child actor. He said the album will contain a song for his two daughters who have been living separately since his divorce in 2001. He said the jazz song is partly a message to his daughters, questioning himself about how they see him as their father now.
Sakai will hold a mini-concert on Sept 23 to introduce the new album.

This strongly suggests his daughters don't live with one another. I have a feeling the writer wanted to say Sakai no longer lives with his daughters. And, at 62, one can assume that his daughters are in their 20s or 30s. If that is the case, them living their own lives separate from both each other and Sakai is not newsworthy. However, since Sakai was married from 1989 to 2001, the kids could be anywhere from seven to 18. What's the story, JT?

Anniversary as an actor. But the story implies he is or was a musician. Something missing here,
