The Beatles were great in their time . . .and gave a lot of joy musically . . .But McCartney's voice is done . . .he is in his 70's . . . It's painful to hear him sing . . . . It's time to stop . . .or stick to song writing . . .

My friend who's a groupie claims that McCartney was infected with the "virus" in South America.

Japanese tabloids said the problem was an intestinal blockage and he had laparoscopic surgery. There's also suggestions that he was in the hospital for five or six days, which seems like a lot for just a "virus."

i wonder why the references to his illness are so oblique? the "virus" excuse seems quite lame at this point.

He is a Oji-san and is prone to getting sick. I am happy he is better!

Rock on, Sir Paul !

Should give up. The only stuff worth doing is the Beatles stuff and that was over 40 years ago. Better off watching a Beatles tribute band than this virus ridden oldster.
