Meet the 'dirty girls' of Ayaman Japan

Meet the 'dirty girls' of Ayaman Japan

TOKYO —

Ayaman Japan is a girls’ entertainment group performing mainly at party events around Roppongi and Nishi-Azabu. There are 100 members in Ayaman Japan, all of whom were scouted by the leader who is called “Ayaman Director.” But only three members, including “Ayaman Director,” do media appearances.

Ayaman Japan doesn’t belong to any talent agency. Rather, they are an amateur group that performs through connection with members. They don’t get paid.

Ayaman Japan started to become famous after appearing on the TV variety program “Tonneruzu no minasan no okage deshita” in 2010. They became famous with their first song “Poipoipoipopoipoipopii” (don’t ask us to translate the title).

After their first hit song, Ayaman Japan collaborated with the comedian Tanoshingo to release a new song “Dodosuko-poipoi” on June 15. Ayaman Japan also collaborated with comedian Shingo Fujimori from “Oriental Radio” to release a new song “Natsu age motion” on Aug 10.

Even though they are pretty, the girls tell dirty jokes and behave in a manner that Japanese women generally don’t do in public. Some people think they are fun, while others get offended by their actions.

Sounds like me on a Saturday night!

That photo is a bit offensive.

Japan is suffering from over-exposure. The first time I saw them, it was a "what the ...?" reaction. But hey!, it was funny. The second time, it wasn't already. With a population of about 128 million, a pool of un-funny people go round and round on all channels. Over-exposure...

They're are plenty of Japanese women who act like this everyday.

They, "behave in a manner that Japanese women generally don’t do in public"? So they behave maturely and not in a world of kawaii?

I hate these girls. They are everywhere with that stupid song, that stupid dance and their dumb grins. Why is this garbage popular here??

    Papigiulio

Hah saw these girls on a variety show last night, they are pretty funny.

I wish someone would "poi" them and their act. Except for "Fatastita Sakurada" - she's pretty good looking, but making those strange faces and acting like idiots is a real turn off. Maybe that's the whole point?

If they don't get paid and have no talent agency, no wonder the networks want to book them on their TV shows... it's much more cost effective paying a ludicrous appearance fee for some other just-as-unfunny tarento.

    Godan

Oops! Spelled your name wrong, "Fantasista-Sakurada". Sorry.

    They don't get paid

At least not officially. Saying so maybe excuses their infantile and repetitive shtick.

    performs through connection with members

Another grassroots movement like AKB with absolutely no yak connections whatsoever.

    Serrano

They should change their name to RNA100.

    CrazyJoe

These girls are not only キチガイ (crazy) but obscene.

  • 1

    cactusJack

Just another J-POP group that is really just a "package" to sell to the public. They can make their money doing live shows and events.

All the boys like Dirty Girls

    They deserved to get paid.

I think they are now with Yoshimoto, at least judging from the credits on their latest PV on YouTube. Personally, I think they're a nice, perverse antidote to AKB48, Kyari Pamyupamyu, and the other legions of cute.

glad to see that the wellspring of talent continues to run deep here in Japan. When was the last time you saw any "musician" or " recording artist" here in the top ten actually playing an instrument?

    Phil Thompson

    yamato nadeshiko they are not.

Indeed. They certainly don't look like men.

    pamelot

Why does being "risque' have to equate with looking ridiculous.

You either got it, or you don't.

  • 0

    smithinjapan

They'll be in the bins tomorrow, so just be patient.

I like comedy and fun stuff in Japan, but..please, spare me the disgusting! Especially the one with the looooooooong tongue that sticks it out all the time then tries to sit on a man's leg and "rape' him, so to speak! We can laugh as adults but these women perform at childrens' parties etc...please just stop the stupid unwanted acts of indecency! Let them get paid to do it privately!

Usually you can see these girls every morning channel 40, the tall girl in the middle is truly ugly.

    YuriOtani

Well they look like 3 unruly elementary school girls with dirty faces. Sort of like after eating candy.

    yasukuni

Hadn't heard of them until I read this article so I looked them up on youtube. What a waste of time. So, people like that? Why?
