Mika Mifune to launch band with husband and baby daughter

TOKYO —
Celebrity Mika Mifune, 26, who is the daughter of the late actor Toshiro Mifune, is launching a rock band together with her musician husband and young daughter. Mifune said the band, which will be called The TraBryu, will consist of herself, husband George Takahashi, 50, who is a vocalist for the rock band Toraburyu, and their daughter Rennon, 3. The band will sing the theme song “Birthday Party” for the kids animation film “Yes! Precure 5GoGo!” The CD single will be released on Nov 5.
Mifune said, “I wanted to make something memorable for my family. Ever since I heard that my father refused an offer to be in ‘Star Wars,’ I thought it is important to do something for children to enjoy.”

i teach some 5yr olds who's dads are as old as mine... and my dad is 58.
if they are happy, and its legal... I dont have a problem with it!

Either it was a very long pregnancy or someone's pulling random numbers out of his or her posterior. Whenever I see these two together they're doing something I don't usually see couples - especially famous couples - doing: laughing, smiling, enjoying each other's company. Some posters here are more worried about 'appearances' such as age differences than something called 'reality.'
I like the kid's name, too. I wonder if they'll have another kid and name him or her Macatoni

That alone is fairly worrying. Sure, a big age gap between two partners is no big deal, but there's just something not right when one of them is THAT young. At least Celine Dion's husband had the decency to wait until she was a fully grown woman before making a move.

Fact: Mika is the illegitimate child of Mifune Toshiro. Fact: Toshiro hardly ever saw her nor even cared she existed. Fact: Mika is cashing in by playing the loving daughter of a Japanese icon who barely acknowledged that he was her father. If she was that well off in the Mifune clan, she would not be married to a Japan Elvis sugar daddy twice her age.
