Mino Monta kissed by pair of sexy ladies in new Lotte commercial

While long used to being the center of attention, TV host and newsman Mino Monta, 65, could not hide his delight when he found himself in between two sexy ladies as part of the promotion for Lotte’s new turmeric energy drink “Nomitomo.”

Monta sings and dances with model-turned-actress Natsuko Nagaike, 24, and actress Miro Ebato, 23, in the commercial before receiving a kiss from both of them. The trio showed off the song and dance at a PR event in Nihonbashi, before the lovely ladies each planted a kiss on Monta’s cheeks. Monta appeared quite pleased, saying: “I’m glad I was born.”

Monta - rumored to be one of the biggest drinkers in Japanese show biz - said he was a good choice for promoting Lotte’s new revitalizing beverage. He spoke of how he has drunk with sumo wrestlers, and wanted to take on Mongolian yokozunas Asashoryu, 29, and Hakuho, 24.

He also diverged to tell a tale of how he once mistook his neighbor’s house for his own when he came home after a big night out. “I opened the door and there was a beautiful woman standing in the hallway, which is when I realized I had made a mistake,” he said. “But don’t tell my wife I said that.”

The new commercial airs from Monday and the drink costs 200 yen.

I cannot kiss Monta even if they pay millions for that. Maybe he is the only Japanese man I find unattractive, he looks like zombie in his morning show.

Yes it may all be true. But he's in the Guiness Book of Records for most appearances on a show run consecutively and there must be some reason he was tolerated for all those years.....isn't there? I don't watch TV so I don't know about him in particular but...
