Misaki Ito’s agency denies reports of upcoming wedding to pachinko king

TOKYO —

It was widely reported in the show biz pages of the media this week that leading actress Misaki Ito, 32, will marry Yoshinori Enomoto, 40, president of pachinko machine manufacturer Kyoraku Sangyo, in November, but her agency Ken-On issued a comment on Tuesday that while they knew the pair were friends, they hadn’t heard anything from Ito about the possibility of an upcoming wedding.

The media reported that the pair will get married in November in Hawaii, where they met last November while at the wedding of actress Mami Uematsu, 31. Ito has been friends with Uematsu since they starred together in the 2001 drama “Beauty 7.” Enomoto was invited to the wedding as a guest of the groom - also a player in the pachinko business. Ito and Enomoto got along well while there and have reportedly been seeing each other since.

The pair were spotted together at a hot spring resort in Oita Prefecture in March this year, and at a restaurant in Tokyo in April with socialite Uno Kanda, 34, and her pachinko king husband Takuro Nishimura, 39. Ito has also been spotted traveling abroad with Enomoto on his business trips, and reportedly met his parents earlier this year.

In Japan, first you get the money. Then you get the pachinko. Then you get the women.

Have you seen the amount of plastic surgery she's had though???

Because of the above statement, I googled around and looked at a number of photos past and present which question whether she had plastic surgery. From what I saw, my answer would be "No" or "at most a little arund the eyes". The latter of course is now so common in Japan and SKorea that it hardly qualifies as "plastic surgery". If you have a link that would enlighten me please post.

Marrying a Pachinko King for money or for love...?..hmm..it's hard to figure out. She's 32 and already over the hill by Japan standard.

    Thanks Jeff

I looked at the photo on the site and my orginal reaction still stands, the "plastic surgery" clearly applies to the eyes, a very common procedure these days in both Japan and SKorea that is so common that it should simply be called "cosmetiv surgery". The nosr shape is essentially the same, although one could argue about slimming the profile, however an overall sliming down of the face, including the nose do not necessary always require "plastic surgery". As evidence, I find that a great many Japanese women say aged 28-38 are far better looking than they way they were as teenagers or early 20s due to a loss of facial fat. My point is that there are far more obvious and blatant examples of "plastic surgery" among celebrities ion Japan and Skorea than Misaki Ito.

I would say that, with Ito, it's more a case of refining her features and doing some tweaks. There's a lot worse out there, with Hamasaki Ayumi leading the pack. So many Jp male and female tarentos have had their teeth fixed - that's the easiest thing to spot. Let's face it, some of their original teeth make vampires look friendly.

if you are in the public eye, why not get your bits fixed? without overdoing it, getting a bit of help only means they want to look better. who doesn't want to look good? if you could afford it, wouldn't you want to fix your crooked teeth or make your eyes look a tad bigger/brighter? cosmetic 'help' is not an asian thing, it's an international thing. it's the ones that over do it that give cosmetic surgery a bad name.

Moderator: All readers back on topic please. The subject is Misaki Ito, not plastic surgery.

What a lucky guy.To be giving the good people of Japan so much pleasure with his machines every day, have a couple of drinks and discuss the business with his mates Takuro and the other player guy, then go home to her.
