A good point. To-day I payed for my home insurance & everything is going up in price here in Canada & probably most other countries. Previously I had several good smoke detectors & added two more.
Amaazed me in that my insurance cost went down a few dollars even with a slight change to cover some other items in my home, that I had not covered, previously, in my home insurance.

Jeez, why did they get her to be the poster girl? She is smoking.
Maybe it's cos they want to choose younger and younger girls up there. I hope the next one is still in junior high.

"They are all great people, and I’d like to be like them." Even if they weren't great, shouldn't you try to be like them? And everyone else for that matter?
I love that soft fist they all put in the air. Such a bunch of weaklings. Lay off the tofu.

... by punching you?
Cappy at 12:04 PM JST - 28th March
Eh? Why would you aspire to be like someone that wasn't great?
eastokyo at 12:13 PM JST - 28th March
gogogo, you effort doesn't make sense, but thanks for trying to say something.
Cappy, who said aspire? Just be. Just be the same.

Um... OK.

east, whats up with the fist? You are right. I am not about to be bullied by this 17 year girl. I am going to be careless with gas and smoke in bed just to make my point!

Do I sense some nifty backside curve there. And I really do not think her parents "often talk" to her about fire safety.
And what is up with that fist thing?
ciao

The soft fist is a very soft gesture of action. It looks pathetic, but it's better that the majority of Japanese stay soft. Japan does well with less of a macho factor that is so prevalent in the West.
If she had a knife in her hand and/or I was her family member and sleeping, then I would be more concerned. Yes, even in my sleep. Especially in my sleep. That's when they can kill you without confrontation or upsetting the harmony.

There goes the General Insurance Association of Japan, skirting the issue again.

east,
Enter Sandman. Oh well lets hope that her action prevents family related burnings. That fist is to be reckoned with!

sicilian,
Keep safe around fire and....
why dont you use "Nni videmu" instead of the venetian "ciao". I am a real Sicilian. Take my advise.
Also again, be safe around fire, just to stay on topic.

She looks hot. One more year, she is 18 and one can say: "Baby you can light my fire". And another 2 years later she is allowed to smoke for herself.
