Moe Oshikiri appears in kimono fashion show in Kyoto

KYOTO —

Model Moe Oshikiri, 28, on Tuesday appeared at a kimono fashion show held in Kyoto. It was her first public appearance since being injured in a traffic accident a few weeks ago.

Oshikiri herself designed some wedding kimonos for the collection and wore three of them during the show. “I tried to express the uniqueness of Japanese women through pure, gorgeous and beautiful bridal gowns,” she said.

    "the uniqueness of Japanese women"

If there's one thing about Japanese women, it's that they're unique.

Pure and gorgeous is a contradiction.

I agree. Gorgeous maybe but pure, doubt it.

Argue about pure and gorgeous all you want but looking at her kimono, especially with her in it, I'll give her all the latitude in semantics that she asks for.

No mention about cooking, boyfriends, a Best xxxist award? But yes, she does look nice in the picture.

I'll agree with you Sarge, Japanese women are unique, of course they are and the people who are covered in these JT articles just love to splurt it out over and over and over and over and over and ov....

"the uniqueness of Japanese women" Sounds like mantra for ugly woman:) That's funny... The uniqueness of japanese women is equal to the uniquenees of Kimono which came from Tang China. No uniqueness, sorry. Next time create something more original or ... unique.
