Moe Oshikiri shows off pumpkin tart

Model Moe Oshikiri, 29, was in Ebisu this week to show off her new creation “Tabegoro Roron Suitsu Taruto” –- a sweet tart made from a new rugby ball-shaped pumpkin produced by Takii Seeds in Kyoto.

Oshikiri came up with the idea for the new dessert which will be on sale at the Tokyo Sweets Factory near Jiyugaoka station until the end of the month. She sampled the tart on stage and said: “It’s great! It’s the perfect tart for this season.”

Oshikiri ended her four-year relationship with Yomiuri Giants pitcher Takahiko Nomaguchi, 26, in August and reporters tried to squeeze in a few questions about it as she was leaving the stage, asking her if her wounds had healed or if she had had found new love. She didn’t reply but was all smiles throughout the event, giving the impression she has moved on.
