TV personality Mona Yamamoto, 33, continued her showbiz comeback this week with an appearance at a promotional event for the launch of Gilt Group in Japan, a invitation-only online shopping service for brandname items. Yamamoto attended the PR event wearing a tiara, a necklace and dress worth 200 million yen.

Asked about the ring on her finger, Yamamoto said, “I have been wearing this ring for a long time. My boyfriend gave it to me. I’ve decided not to hide it because it’s bothersome to do so.” Yamamoto told reporters that she no longer avoids talking about her boyfriend. “Our relationship is going well. If we decide to marry, I’ll let you know soon enough.”
