Naoko Iijima and Sosuke Tanihara reminisce over romantic times in Yokohama

TOKYO —
Actress Naoko Ijima, 40, and actor Sosuke Tanihara, 36, will star in the stage play “Vision! Yokohama,” as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations of Yokohama Port. Director Amon Miyamoto and Yokohama Mayor Hiroshi Nakada were also on hand to help the two stars promote the drama.
“My memories of Yokohama are full of romance. I used to go to Yamashita Park and Daikoku Futo area to see the ocean everyday,” said Iijima who is a Yokohama native. Tanihara, another Yokohama native, told reporters, “I had long hair when I was a high school student. A macho guy hit on me in Yamashita Park.”
The drama will be performed at Pacifico Yokohama on May 31.
