Naomi Kawashima offers up full-course wedding reception

Actress Naomi Kawashima, 48, and patissier Toshihiko Yoroizuka, 43, celebrated their wedding reception in grand style at the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo this week. About 350 show business friends and colleagues attended the party, dining on fine French course prepared by the groom himself together with a team of eight famous chefs, including “Iron Chef” Hiroyuki Sakai, 67. Kawashima performed duties as sommelier, selecting the wines for the feast.

“Talento” Kuniko Yamada, 49, was looking forward to sampling the pair’s wedding cake, Yoroizuka’s own creation. “I want them to serve it up at the very beginning of the course!” Ex-gravure idol and “talento” Mariya Yamada, 29, was equally excited, laughing, “I made sure to come on an empty stomach.”

Both the couple and the team of all-star chefs made their appearance at a pre-reception press conference, though Yoroizawa ducked out early to “put the finishing touches on our wedding cake.” Kawashima waxed romantically about their union, saying, “I’m like a wine and he’s the vessel where I’ll mature.”

Kawashima wore a dress by bridal designer Yumi Katsura, 77, with a price tag estimated to be around 2.5 million yen. The actress wore a total of three dresses from a ceremony to the after-party.

The couple exchanged vow at a ceremony in France earlier this month.

At 48 she looks beautiful. I hope I dont get to meet her in person. It will spoil her whole image. The same case with all J oba-celebs....shocking! They project such a good image in front of the cameras but in real person they are not as refined....lol

Another waste of money & tv time, all for the sole purpose to satisfy their egos. But I do hope they have a better ending than the Noriko wedding.
