Norika Fujiwara looking for a man who 'will make an effort'

Actress Norika Fujiwara, 37, charmed the local media at the Miss Paris Diet Center grand opening in Hong Kong on Friday.

When asked, “What’s the greatest enemy of a successful diet?” the actress said, “Oneself. There’s a lot of really delicious food here in Hong Kong, but it’s important to conquer your impulses and stick to your diet.”

Speaking of impulses, reporters were more interested in Fujiwara’s life following her divorce. Asked what sort of a man she was now looking for, Fujiwara said that her ideal man is “one who makes an effort.”

Her ex must have been on drugs or comatose for another reason. Who wouldn't "make an effort" for a trophy wife like that? Unless she's an absolute shrew when the cameras are turned off, I don't see any man ignoring her.

Pathat, how true your words are, as in anything, especially a happy marriage is definitely a 2 way street! I hope she also realizes this and tries to be a good wife, not just a good actress in her next time, or sadly enough she will be repeating this cycle of marriage/divorce for while.

I agree with Seesaw - Norika ain't short of guys wanting to go out with her. When she use to appear at the K1 events all those fighters use to go ga-ga over her.....maybe she was just too westernized for her ex....maybe a bit too smart, a bit too direct and a bit too assertive. You have to give it to her the way she tries to reinvent herself all the time.

Norika is one of Japan's finest female personalities. She has such charisma (in addition to hottiness). Watching those J-Phone commercials back in the day was a lot of fun. Not to mention the cybershot ad that ran during the 2002 World Cup...

Being famous doesn´t mean being lucky when it comes to marriage. It must take a man who is willing to become invisible to marry such a personality, to wear brand all the time and be ready to smile even in the worst situations. She must get to bed wearing 1 million yen nightgowns. That´s what she mean by ¨an effort¨, I guess: let her shine and make her happy at the same time.
