Pregnant MEGUMI to marry singer Kenji Furuya

TOKYO —

Ex-bikini model MEGUMI, 26, will marry Kenji Furuya, 29, who is a vocalist of the rock band Dragon Ash, their agents said Sunday. MEGUMI, who is three months pregnant, and Furuya will marry this week.

MEGUMI and Furuya have already told the media they have been living together since last year. Their agents said the type of wedding ceremony has not yet been decided.

The all caps thing is irritating, but it's supposed to distinguish the famous from the merely spelling their name in English. Of course if the name is common enough this is going to only work once. There is a singer by the same name, I think she spells here name with all lowercase, "megumi." I guess the next famous Megumi will have to be MeGuMi. It's like junior high school all over again.

Then there is Erika Sawajiri whose rockin' alter ego is ERIKA. How terribly clever.

I reckon a bikini model would be kinda wary about something like that happening, otherwise.

I have never quite understood the fascination so many guys had with MEGUMI. Other than her bustline, nothing stands out about her,

"Stands out" indeed. Look at idol videos these days. What do see? A big rack. Big yams = lots of clam$. I doubt people are interested in seeing idols reciting Shakespeare or doing Trig.
