Pregnant singer hitomi performs in Avex's 'a-nation '08' concert

TOKYO —

Singer hitomi, 32, who is six months pregnant, showed plenty of energy at music label Avex’s annual summer concert “a-nation ‘08” held at Ajinomoto Stadium in Chofu. It was hitomi’s first appearance in public since she announced her second marriage and pregnancy in June.

She told the crowd, “I have a baby inside me. Now I have double the energy for my performance.”

At the end of the event, singer DZ Ozma appeared and announced his transfer to Avex.
