Stupid. not like anyone won't go and see the movie because they have read the script. Tarantino is anyway overrated. Makes ok B-movie action flicks, but that's all. The level of respect and adulation for him puzzles me.

Scripts? As in his movies have plots?

Tarantino is anyway overrated.

Yep.

Makes ok B-movie action flicks, but that's all.

I'd say you give him too much credit.

The level of respect and adulation for him puzzles me.

You and me both.

Pulp Fiction is a B-movie? On what planet?

He's not a very attractive man, no wonder he's angry over his 'intellectual property' being infringed, it's all he has going for him.

He has every right to be angry, it's HIS work, that he put HIS time into. How would you feel? Pulp Fiction? B-Movie? Seriously - We'd all be stunned if a movie of that quality was released now.

Tarantino has not written an original story in his entire life.

He writes, sharp funny dialogue and clearly scenes, but original stories ... no.

It's a very fine line between being "influenced" and "copying"

Mr Tarantino finely cuts and pastes 1000s of bits of scenes from other movies together and he does this exceptionally well.

Pulp Fiction has NOT stood the test of time and if you watch it today it does come across like a B-Movie and Mr. Tarantino would be happy with that fact.

His earlier work, "Reservoir Dogs" does stand the test of time ..... but is it really just an "American" version of Ringo Lam's "City On Fire".

With regard to him suing the website for leaking "his work" HE SHOULD SUE THEM FOR EVERY CENT HE CAN!

Thanks to Google, creative works and copyright have become free game, why pay for anything, Google doesn't. .... Google "Do No Evil" - yeah right.

BTW: Why is Google buying up all those companies producing military robots?

@JanesBlonde I was going to write that but you beat me to it. True, he has many influences, having been a former video store clerk and having seen many movies, but hardly has any original ideas. Not really impressed with him.

He's a big fan of genre movies, Blaxploitation, Chinese and Japanese martial arts films. I recall he admitted in an interview before he wrote Kill Bill he watched a ton of 70's kung fu flicks and chambara films to get ideas. Indeed a fine line between being influenced by and copying.

Whatever you think of Tarantino, he's 100% in the right here - Gawker solicited the copyright violation, and publicized the link to the script. They're going to lose, big time.

he is ugly or cute or he is terrible actor or his movie sucks, etc do not mean someone can violate copyright of scripts .
