TOKYO —

Actress Rie Miyazawa, 36, wore an eye-catching low-cut dress to a special preview of the nature documentary “Oceans” in Roppongi this week, in what marked her return to work for 2010.

Miyazawa supplies the Japanese narration for the film, which was directed and narrated by Jacques Perrin, 68, and jointly produced by Walt Disney Studios, Notro Films and Galatee Films.

Miyazawa, whose father is Dutch, spoke of the birth of her first child last year and said that she was looking forward to the challenges that await her in 2010.

Singers Ayaka Hirahara, 25, and Norimasa Fujisawa, 26, also performed their song “Sailing my life,” which is the theme song in the Japanese language version of the movie.

“Oceans” opens in cinemas on Jan 22.

Why is what she wore the firts thing mentioned? What the heck does that have to do with the movie? Or the birth of her kid for that matter?

if it is that dress in the pic, it is neither low cut NOR eye catching. Was she wearing something else earlier? Yeah why is that the first thing mentioned, has nothing to do with the topic and on top of that its not even true.

michaelqtodd, You're expecting information about the movie? Come on man, this is Japan, the talento are more important.

TokyoGas, My thought exactly. What about the parentage of Perrin, Hirahara, and Fujisawa? Why is JapanToday slighting them?

Why does she have to be "mixed" because get dad's from the Netherlands? If he were born and raised there he'd be considered Dutch regardless of where his ancestors came from.
