Rock band The Boom reunites in Yokohama

KANAGAWA —

Rock band The Boom, who suspended their activities three years ago, reunited on Sunday to perform at a live event “1000 SAMBA!” held in Yokohama, to mark the 100th anniversary of Japanese immigrants in Brazil.

Kazufumi Miyazawa, 42, vocalist of the band, said, “I wanted to tell my fans that we will officially be reunited next year.” The band also announced it will join music label Avex in May.
