George Clooney’s political thriller “The Ides of March”—went home empty handed

It doesn't matter it did not get any award, it seems interesting and I am going to see it. I love his political thrillers. He is a man with strong opinion and I love his movie messages. I think his movies are the most interesting American movies made recently, though not politically correct from point of vie of US government and it would be wonderful if USA made more serious movies.

nothing against manga, maybe the script is good, I cannot comment on this movie without seeing it, but seems he rewrote the script very quickly after the earthquake in order to use the tragedy of the disaster in tohoku, However I always wonder what is this current trend in Korean and Japanese movie industry to make movies based on manga about (not speaking about Holliwood with all that batman spiderman superman...)
