TOKYO —
Actress Ryoko Yonekura, 33, and Hiroshi Tachi, 58, will star in a special drama this weekend to mark TV Asahi’s 50th anniversary. In the drama, “Kori no hana,” Yonkeura plays a woman who poisons her husband’s lover for revenge.
She said she enjoyed playing a villainous character. “Actually, I can feel a lot of sympathy for my character. If I were married and my husband cheated on me, I would sue him and demand compensation.”
The drama will air on the TV Asahi network on Friday and Saturday.

Infidelity, my friend. Infidelity/adultery is not a criminal offence in Japan, I think. But it surely is a moral wrong and a civil court could grant compensation. But let's see what is going to happen in this special drama!

She feels sympathy for a character that kills somebody? Jeeze I hope this loon doesn't plan on getting married after making that statement.
