TOKYO —
Actress Ryoko Yonekura, 33, and actor Masaru Nagai, 30, let the media in for a look at some of the scenes of stage play “Kurokawa no techo” (“The Black Leather Notebook”) on Tuesday, a day before it started showing at the Meijiza Theater in Nihombashi on Wednesday.
The play is being held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Seicho Matsumoto, a prolific writer during the 20th century and author of the novel on which this play has been adapted. Yonekura plays a club owner in Ginza, and changes between suits and kimonos 19 times during the show. She said changing that quickly was tough.
The second act features Yonekura and Nagai in bath robes on top of a bed. Nagai commented his co-star’s beautiful skin and said that he follows her lead in the love scenes. Yonekura quipped: “What will we do if we fall in love?”
“Kurokawa no techo” runs until May 25.

Nagai is such a typical J-guy -- he's gushing about her skin and letting her take the lead in the bedroom. Do the males here have any testosterone?
