Sayuri Yoshinaga introduces new film on election campaign van

KAGOSHIMA —

Actress Sayuri Yoshinaga, 63, and comedian Kimimaro Ayanokoji, 57, have been touring around on an election campaign van in Kagoshima City to introduce her latest film “Maboroshi no Yamataikoku.” The story follows an elderly couple who research Japan’s ancient history.

Yoshinaga said, “The film is about a couple who help each other to survive in the 1950-60s. I hope many people feel nostalgic after seeing the film.” The film will be released on Nov 1.

I wonder if they find the ancient history includes Korea and the Ainu in the movie? Sound trucks though...politicians or mobsters or actresses..it is still noise pollution.

Those election trucks are so annoying - how strange to promote a film by alienating your potential audience.
