TOKYO —

R&B singer DOUBLE, 33, will release her new album “The Best Collaboration” on May 28. The new album features collaboration music with other artists, including singer Namie Amuro, 30.

DOUBLE, who asked Amuro to collaborate with her, said, “I wanted to create music with her because she is the most talented artist I know.” Amuro adds, “DOUBLE is so good at expressing herself. I felt any joint effort with her would be cool.”

The album includes a DVD featuring a music video where the two dance together.

  I thought she was older given all the crap she has had to go through (enough for several life-times) and still going strong at 30 - she has earned my respect - I couldn't stand her when she first emerged in the mid 90s.
